What is terminal DCR?

In terminal DCR the lacrimal sac is completely separated from the NLD is cut of to avoid recanalization.

It results in total diversion of tear flow & opening that would further improve the success rate of endoscopic DCR, particularly in cases of idiopathic and partial obstruction
