How will you manage common canalicular obstruction?
Insertion of lester-Jones tube(ceramic): Jones tubes are small tubes that create a new channel for draining the tears. They create a bypass route of tear drainage when the normal tear ducts fail and alternative techniques to provide drainage are not possible.
Canaliculo-dacryocystorhinostomy: The surgery involves a micro-surgical dissection at the site of the common canalicular obstruction followed by anastomosis to the sac or nasal mucosa with silicone tube intubation of the passage using an improvised metallic introducer.
